Aged 52, he has been an Executive Director of the Company since January 2003 and was appointed as the Deputy Managing Director in July 2003. He has also been appointed as a member of the Remuneration Committee of the Company since 3 May 2011 and is a director of various subsidiaries of the Company. He is a member of the 7th Tian He District Committee of The Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. He was awarded a Bachelor of Science degree from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 1983 and a Postgraduate Diploma in Management Studies from the City University of Hong Kong in 1989. He is responsible for project coordination, project finance, management and administration of the expressway infrastructure and other projects of the Company in the PRC. He was an Executive Director of Hopewell Holdings Limited during the period from 1 January 2002 to 25 July 2003.
